Utilize Jedi Knight Anakin’s double-damage bonus turn under Shaak Ti’s leadership to do massive damage to Sith Empire units while they have as many stacks of ferocity as possible, reducing their defense.
Mod JKA for very high offense and at least 192% Crit Damage, and save his AOE for a bonus turn after DR uses Force Storm (AOE). This ensures that SE enemies will have at least 10 stacks of Ferocity, which lowers their defense.
Rex first. After that, you get coin flip turn order, so turn order is not largely relevant.
CLS – speed (at least DR speed -8), must get guard
Han – speed and offence (270+ speed)
Chewie – offence and survivability with decent speed (260+ speed)
R2 – if can’t be made faster than opposing DR and BSF, mod for hp and offence (60k+ hp, 4k+ offence)
C3PO – speed, potency (270+ speed)
1st shot must not land on DR, BSF nor Malak. Aim for a Sith Empire character you can afford boosting instead, to get tm for the stun being resisted. The character that was shot shall gain additional speed due to ferocity. Then CLS shall get a turn, which can be used to either dispel a taunt (if present) or start working on BSF/HK. The perfect scenario is to take down Bastila and HK before DR takes a turn. Taking down Bastila before her first turn is a necessity. After that, go after the dmg dealers (HK/Assassin), then DR, then Malak. Put confusion on tanks so that DR dies from counters after using his AoE. Keep Malak for the last and try to keep him under stun all the time, since stuns are going to stick once DR is dead. Use the most damaging abilities to push Malak through his health thresholds.
General Strategy: GG needs mods all focused on health. AoE everytime a a droid dies.
Padme – HP. Speed 220-. No speed arrow!
Anakin – CD/Off + HP. Speed 250+. Potency Cross mandatory for healing immunity on Malak. C-3PO – Speed + Potency. Speed 260+.
GK – HP. Speed 260+.
Ahsoka – HP + (optional) CD/Off. No speed arrow!
Kill all others, and Malak last, as he is immune to Courage damage. Always have 3 Translation stacks on Padme (when she has 3 stacks, C-3PO’s basic reduces her cooldowns).
DR, BSF, Malak will take their turn first. Don’t cast Anakin’s AOE yet! (will probably trigger Malak’s Drain on Padme (Deathmark) and kill her). Padme’s turn — cast the mass cleanse (1st special) and turn all debuffs into Protection Up. Anakin’s turn — will have a lot of Courage stacks. Cast his AOE on BSF – this should kill her. Focus HK next — kill him before he can snipe one of your toons. Use GK’s mass assist (last special) / Padme’s mass assist (last special) / Ahsoka’s special. Only DR + Malak left: DR will split his HP with Malak before dying (because Courage stacks are separate hits), and this will trigger Malak’s drain again. Padme, Anakin & C-3PO must survive this! (GK should taunt). Only Malak left: Padme — Cast specials on cooldown. Anakin — Attack basic if Malak doesn’t have healing immunity. Cast AOE if he does. Ahsoka, if alive — Cast special on cooldown.
Strategy: You will need more speed than their BSF usually to have a chance at winning this match. Use the mass debuffs to your advantage. Kill BSF first.
Strategy: Try to avoid Corrupt Battle Mediation and Shock using Tenacity up and GK’s cleanse. Kill order : BSF first, HK47 second, rest will fall. Don’t waste assists on DR and always let Yoda and DR assist eachother
This is an easy matchup for GAS on offense in arena with comparable gear/relics, but it’s less than ideal in GAC because it’s hard to keep all of your toons alive and GAS has no health/protection regen. This matchup is easily winnable with either Ahsoka or ARC as the 5th, though ARC is preferable. There are two common DR lineups: the all offense squad that runs Sith Marauder and the more defensive one that runs Sith Trooper. The strategy is very similar against both – it should be easy for you to get your Rex faster than any of their toons. Start the fight with your tenacity up and then there are two goals prior to the other team moving: to kill DBast and score a critical hit against DR to increase his cooldowns. Usually you can only do one of these and it can vary based off of your turn order after you use Rex’s special as well as how many taunters the enemy team is employing. After that, your GAS is likely to be taken down to cover due to Malak’s drain, etc. Make sure you don’t use 5’s special while GAS is in cover – you need his sacrifice to proc to increase your teams stats. After DBast is killed you will probably have to kill Malak due to fear procs, but if you can try to focus down HK/Marauder/DR and leave Malak for last. Most battles will end with only 5’s dead, but even with bad RNG you should be able to win as long as you kill at least 2 toons before its just GAS left. Make sure you attack DR to increase his fear cooldown if that’s the case.
GAS to be around 300 speed. Pretaunt protects From cooldown reduction, GAS then goes and lowers all cooldowns aside from DR & Malak. My working theory is that GAS needs to be faster than BSF. Thrawn or R2 might work for HY. Especially if Thrawn is faster than BSF and swaps to GAS so he can go before BSF.
HK47 prevents tm gain for those with protection up, but the attack tech also lets GAS ignore defense which is critical to take down Malak and in general hit them hard. Once GAS loses protection up, he will get the tech tm gain. A fast GAS is needed initially so he can take enough turns while it is being blocked.
